I recommend to you a few tips that can help you sleep like a baby. Stay tuned!1.Screens: It is good not to use nor to watch any computer screen, tablet, or phone in the evening and to install the application Twilight over all devices, which diminish the blue light that transmits to the brain that it is still daylight around. On desktops, the application name is ‘f.lux’. Playing computer games for falling asleep easier or smoothly dreaming is not helping us either.2.Use Lullaby songs: I suggest an application on Android named ‘Lullabo’ that helps or you can choose any other application for lullaby songs. I listen to it for about 15 minutes before sleeping. While sleeping, your phone must be at least 10 feet or 3 meters from the nearest part of your body in the corner of your room or outside the room. It is ideal to shut down the phone but we need the song. I do not advise staying on plane mode close to us. Do not forget to stop the wireless from the router during the night.It should be mentioned that when I use to keep the phone close to me when I sleeping, I needed up to 3 hours after waking up to get out of bed in the morning, that is how exhausted I was.3.Mantras’ and prayers: When you are lying in bed and you close your eyes, you can say: ‘I am calm, I am peaceful’ or ‘I will wake up fully rested in the morning’ or prayers like ‘God have mercy’ or ‘God bless me’ or ‘God help me’ or ‘God heal me’ or ‘For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us’ or ‘Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world’ or the prayer ‘Our Father’ repeated till we fall asleep.Another way is to imagine sheep jumping over a fence and count them, or boxes on a production line from a plant and count them, or in my case a lot of train lines and a locomotive that often changes the switch passing on the entrance or exit of a train station. What also works, is reverse counting from 10 or 20 or 50 to 1.I want to stress the fact that reading can be really useful for some people before bedtime, at least one page of the book but not on the computer or phone. It doesn’t work very well for me, it energizes me too much, maybe also because I have dyslexia and dysgraphia, and that is why.Falling asleep with the TV on is not healthy, so cut it off from the list.Post scriptum: • I was mentioning prayers because for me they worked.• I also take pills (permanent soft pills) to fall asleep but if I am energized it takes me around 2 hours to fall asleep even with the pills and being in bed.• Avoid coffee, cola, Pepsi, green tea, black tea, ice-tea, peanuts butter, sweets with cacao, like chocolate and caramel after 03:00 PM.• And pay attention in psychology, the fact is known, that the brain does not know or understand the word ‘no’ or ‘not’. Therefore, if you constantly repeat “I am not thinking, I am not thinking” to fall asleep, you will, in fact, think,- and the reverse is the same, like when you say “I am not relaxed, I am not relaxed” you will calm down because the brain will process the word and it will transmit a calming signal. For the brain, the word “no” or “not” has no sense.• If you snore, you may have sleep apnea. If you feel your feet too dry, use a moisturizer cream, this can be another cause of insomnia. I take paracetamol in case of a headache, because the pain causes unhealthy sleeping.
